Tutorial: Watercoloring on Stamps
Candy alert!! On today’s Hero Arts blog post, Sally’s asking for cards – and providing a link to your card is something our OWHers know how to do – and qualify to win an assortment of stamps! GO SEE! (Just don’t forget to come back here too!) PS Note that they’re showing a Halloween card at the bottom of the post for a non-OWH reason; our Halloween deadline has passed.
And the winner of last week’s Patriot’s Day challenge: Lori Law! Congrats!!
Happy Tuesday! And thanks to Nancy being nice, I’m hijacking the tutorial post again 🙂 I’ve got another video posted on May Arts this week that I think lots of you will love, and I didn’t want anyone to miss it! It’s especially for those who don’t like to color in your stamps – and those without Copics – yes, without Copics! AND it features one of our new fundraising stamp sets from Hero Arts: Epic Love!
Go over to watch the video on the May Arts blog – and as always, don’t forget to leave me some love on the blog and YT! Then give the technique a try yourself, and show us what you’ve created!
Below is a card using the Warm Wishes set; a little technique difference in this is that the stamp was spritzed with water before stamping. (That will make sense once you see the video!) If you do any adaptations, leave a comment with a description – there are tons of ways to use this, and the technique reacts so differently with various papers and inks!
