Tutorial: VCMP ReviewPosted by Nancy on Sep 3, 2013 in Cardmaker tips, Stars and Stamps, Tutorial, VCMP | 7 comments
Happy Tuesday, everyone! We sure hope that you had a great time at the VCMP for Labor Day weekend! Those Virtual Card Making Parties are definitely one of the most popular activities of the year here at Stars & Stamps. Since there was so much to learn and do, today might be a great day to just review all of the great cards that were made.
If you haven’t gone through the lineup yet, the original post can be found here. For today’s tutorial, your challenge is to make one more card following one of your favorite new techniques from the party. Or, maybe you found someone elses’ card among all of the other InLinkz submissions that you were particularly inspired by! It’s really amazing how much mojo you can get from events like these.
For example, I was really inspired by how so many of you took the inchie sketch and made it your own. Some of my favorite submissions included an additional embellishment or detail to make the sketch even more fun! One of my favorites is this one, by Linda from The Stamper’s Touch. I just love the addition of that snowflake, and the intricate stitching around the edges! Next time I follow this sketch, I will definitely be inspired to try something like this!
Also, if you haven’t done so already, take some time to browse through the submissions at each stop and visit the blogs or galleries that these great cards came from. Leave some nice comments! Everybody loves a nice comment on a job well done. I know that I saw lots of new faces this time around. Welcome, newbies and I hope that you all find lots of inspiration and encouragement from playing along with us!
Short and sweet.. join us today by adding an InLinkz to your favorite VCMP creation or CASE something that you saw created by someone else! Stay tuned for even MORE fun with another great blog skip tomorrow!
