The joy it brought me

I am writing to let you know that my service member will be coming home in March, therefore will not need another shipment of cards. He and his fellow service members greatly appreciated your support and shipment of cards.
As a spouse here in the states I cannot tell you the joy it brought to me everytime I opened my mailbox and saw one of your cards. Sometimes they were filled with a lengthy note from my husband and other times just a simple sentence to remind me he loves me. Regardless, the cards are beautiful and will remain proudly displayed in my home until my husband is home safe and sound.
Thank each and every one of you for your efforts to keep families connected through challenging deployments!
Sincerely,
D.G.

AWE, this letter gave me the warm fuzzies! I’m so glad people write in…. it’s keeps my mojo running
Her comment brought tears to my eyes. I’ve “been there,” and can fully appreciate how wonderful OWH is, and can only wish such a truly generous group had been around “back in the day.” It would have been a true God-send. Now, back to my card-making. Thanks once again for sharing.
