Sketch Challenge #218

Howdy Peeps! I don’t know about you, but I’m still waiting patiently, or not, for Spring to appear. But, I won’t complain after the tragedy in Washington State. It goes to show that no matter how bad we personally think we have it… there’s always others who have it so much worse.

So… are you ready for a twist on this week’s sketch? The measurements were provided by the card maker.

218

The inspiration for the sketch comes from a card by the amazing, and talented, Pam. Pam has all the measurements on her blog and info on the embossing. Visit her blog “Airbornewife’s Stamping Spot”. The link is Here.

Notice the teeny tiny border the mats have. I was never good at math but I think they’re 1/16” all around. You have the freedom to use the measurements to your advantage. You might want to round them out.

As always:, the sketch is a guide to interpret to your needs. You can follow it to the “T”, or adjust items. Just as long as you can still see the “basic bones” of the sketch you’re good to go.

The main thing is have fun and let the creative juices flow!

  1. I’m a huge fan of Pam’s cards and subscribe to her blog! Thanks for the sketch card Pam, you always inspire me and rock the challenges you play in!

  2. Pam: This card is fabulous! Congrats on being featured on today’s S&S post!

Marlene: I seem to be having trouble linking a card. It should be showing up — when I tried a second time, I received a message that the link was already in the collection. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    • Apparently, you were successful, because it’s in the collection twice! 🙂 I guess it was a technical glitch on the linky’s end.

      • Yes, it went from none to two pretty quickly. Sorry about the duplication. At least it’s there now, and a hero will be getting a note of appreciation.

  3. Beautiful card. Thanks for the sketch. Congratulations

  4. Ummm, this is sketch #218. 😀

    • Yup Roberta… you’re right. Thanks, I didn’t even catch this boo-boo. Egg on my face. 🙂

  5. Soooo sorry for the mix up on the number of this challenge. It is #218, but WordPress isn’t letting me make the change right now. 🙁
