Sketch Challenge #213

Howdy Peeps! Here it is, the beginning of the last week in February. I for one will be glad to say bye-bye, not so much to the month, but definitely all the snow.

I’ve been on a kick of using up my ginormous pile of scraps. [have neglected them for a long time]  I’m preparing for an upcoming 4 day Crop where I’ll be making cards using my scraps. Which brings me to this week’s Sketch Challenge. Surprise! Don’t you like how I worked that in?

So… here this week’s Sketch… perfect for using scraps, and easy.213

Now for the card that was the inspiration. It came in the mail from the talented Deb S, who does not have a blog. Be sure to leave her some love on this post. And yes, I’ll be using this sketch to make kits for my Crop.213 sample Deb SteinbergThere you have it Peeps, this week’s sketch challenge. Go… scoot… make something wonderful. Don’t forget to come back here and use the Inlinkz thingy below so we can all see what you made.

  1. Deb, this is a terrific card. I love the polka dot and the stripes together. They look so good against the kraft paper. Cute idea to use the star to dot the “I” with. Thanks for some nice inspiration.

  2. Great way to use scraps….. My scrap box is overflowing……..again!

  3. Perfect timing. I’ve been gathering my scraps and putting them in a folder according to color! Now I can use them!
