Sketch Challenge #200

Sketch Challenge #200

Good morning peeps… and welcome to the last week of November 2013! Really?… Already?… Yep, afraid so. This year is just flying by so quickly. A big “Thank You” to all of you who have been busily working this year making cards for the troops. I never presume to speak for others, but I’m certain I can speak for the troops, and the family, on this topic. I know you have their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for all your contributions.

This week’s sketch: I know it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving week and you’re all busy. I’m hoping you will be able to squeeze in time to play along with this week’s sketch challenge.

We have two sample cards this week. Remember… the cards that inspire our sketches are picked out by the team who trolls our challenge participants’ blogs to find designs to create sketches from. Your card could be picked next to inspire one of our sketches.

The first card is from our own fearless leader, Sandy Allnock. Visit Sandy’s blog, I can’t stop embellishing, here.200 sample1

The second card was made especially for this challenge by our own talented Lea Mae Elkins using Hero Arts Lil Hoot set. Visit Lea Mae’s blog, Boxes of Dogs, here.

Well peeps, I have to scoot. Have a safe, blessed and happy Thanksgiving!

Big PS: We’re at Sketch #200!! Time for some HOOPLAH right? Well how about at least a new pdf? THIS PDF has all 200 sketches PLUS the bonus ones…and all of them at a consistent size; our last pdfs had some small images that folks said they couldn’t read the text measurements, so hopefully this will work better. Happy cardmaking!

  1. Thanks for another great sketch and the lovely inspiration. This has good bone structure and will be a good design to keep filed away.

  2. 200 sketches – wow, that’s a lot of inspiration! Thanks so much for the PDF collection! Makes it easy to flip through the sketches, then go to the sketch number’s blog post for great examples.

  3. Thanks for all for all the hard work and I love that there all the same size but there are some sketches missing (137, 138, 139, 148 to 153).

  4. Love the PDF- thanks for all of the inspiration neat and complete!!

  5. Thanks for the PDF, nice to have all the sketches in one place.

  6. Wow! 200 Sketches ~ Awesome!!! I am so loving all the layers on this sketch. I have printed it off and am ready to go make something.

  7. Am I missing something or is there a measurement missing? What is the measurement of the background piece on the horizontal element?
