Sketch Challenge #190

Sketch Challenge #190

Happy, Blessed Sunday Peeps!  Hmmmm… did anyone notice this past Friday was the 13th? Call me clueless, but I never paid any attention until oooh… about 10pm Friday night. In the words of “Scooby Doo”… ruh roo! I guess I was so caught up in another fun filled week of the OWH Birthday Bash that I lost track of dates.

There were soooo many terrific cards linked for last week’s sketch!  I even saw a few Christmas themed cards… wowzer! Let’s see what you do with this week’s sketch:

190 Sketch (Sept 15) (1)

The card that inspired this sketch was made by the wonderfully talented Carol L for a July MWT. Carol’s blog, Our Little Inspirations, is one of my favorite ones to visit. Carol’s blog can be found HERE.

190 Carol Longacre (Sept 15)

Here’s a reminder: Leaving a comment when you visit a blog is the only way a blogger knows that their work and creativity is liked and appreciated. Did something about the card speak to you, or remind you of a forgotten technique, or provide you with inspiration? Please show your love by leaving a comment.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and be good to each other, and yourself. And… create something beautiful!

  3. Great sketch. Love the example – the frame for the sentiment is fun.

  4. The background is great I thought it was a embossing folder. The punch you used is perfect. Nice job on the whole card. Have not seen that sentiment .

  5. Love the way the decorative strip was offset instead of being straight across behind the focal point. Really helped to make the card more interesting. Nice sketch and nice job on the card.

  6. I am not sure if the background color is grey or beige, but it really helps pop the red, white and blue.
