Sketch Challenge #178
Howdy peeps! How are ya’ll this fine mornin? Ooops, my goodness, my Kentucky drawl just slipped out. I just got back from my son’s house in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. Soooo peaceful and relaxing, and a much slower pace of life. Love it!!
Here’s your sketch for this week. I’m lovin all the layers, and the nice space for a sentiment or image.
I know you’ve heard the expression “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. That’s exactly what Kristie did with this gorgeous card. The sketch was a square one from Bugaboo. However, Kristie cleverly adapted the square so it would meet the OWH criteria for size, which is 5.5” x 4.25”. Kristie’s blog is The best things in life are Pink. The link to her blog, so you can visit and leave some love, is here.
We can all take a lesson from Kristie. If you find a sketch, or design, that you really love, try adapting it. Experiment by shrinking a sketch down, or enlarging it. I know… we are all lovin OWH sketches because they give dimensions. And… we get spoiled. I know I do. Just remember, sketches are a starting point for using your own creative touches and adaptations.
Now go… create something wonderful, and have fun! But be sure to come back here and link up your card so we can all be inspired.
