Sketch Challenge #170

Sketch Challenge #170

Good morning peeps! It’s Sunday, and time for another Sketch Challenge, but first, a delighted “Way to Go!”. To whom you ask? Everyone who linked a card to last week’s Sketch Challenge. !!You ladies ROCKED that challenge!! Now I already know you are a talented, creative bunch… but Wowzer… you really outdid yourselves. Thank you soooo much for participating. Our troops will thank you too, and that’s what really counts!

This week’s sketch is from a card that was sent to one of our shippers.

170

There’s a notation that this card was made by Cindy E. Unfortunately I don’t have a blog to link to, so Cindy E, if you’re out there, give us a shout!

Maybe you didn’t know this? Quite a few sketches come from cards mailed to our shippers. It’s perfectly acceptable to put your name on the back of your cards. It’s not required, but it’s a nice touch.

Now go, scoot, create some more goodness. Then be sure to come back and link your card up in the InLinkz thingy below.

  1. I love the way this shows off some paper (and a great colored image). Well done Cindy E.! 🙂

  2. I love this colored digi image you used Cindy E! Great card!!

  3. What a great card, Cindy! Thanks for the inspiration! I really like the reds against the solid black background!

  4. Looks like this sketch is a big hit. Everyone’s versions are great!

  5. So pretty! I wish there was a way to scroll through the submissions tho, instead of having to do so much clicking back & forth.

  6. Way to go Cindy E.! What a great card and a fun sketch!!! I love it!

  7. Your card layout is great and colors fun and would love to know where you found the darling panda?

  8. You all made wonderful cards utilizing this sketch.
Thank you everyone. However, I cannot take credit for coloring the panda digi. It was a free Digi from Beary Wishes website: http://www.bearywishes.com/category/freebies/page/2/. I had a small piece of that rose paper left and wanted to try to showcase it. I was also trying to make a somewhat masculine Valentine’s day card. I am happy I could help inspire many more beautiful cards. Sorry I am not very computer literate I do not have a webpage yet.

  9. OK, I wasn’t sure about this sketch as I started making it but once my card was complete, I love it. It’s perfect for mixing patterns together and would be a good mass production card.

  10. Thanks for a wonderful sketch…truly a keeper!

  11. I love the red against the black, it really makes it pop! I also really like the use of the embossing on the red panel, it shows depth. Very nice card Cindy.
