Sketch Challenge #165
Oh my goodness, can you believe it’s almost the last of March already? Spring has finally sprung and I don’t know about you… but that always gives my mojo a little jump start. Sketches are always helpful in the mojo department and this week’s sketch is no exception. Time to break out your colorful spring papers and images, and get busy. This sketch will get you started.
The inspiration for this sketch is this beautiful card by the ever so talented Patricia over at Thinking of Inking.
Are you as in love with the colors in her patterned paper as I am? Everything comes together so beautifully. Did you notice the sentiment is stamped directly on patterned paper? Wonder why you try this and it can’t be read very well? Tip: Patricia used a tone on tone paper, in a light color, to stamp the sentiment onto. This allows the sentiment to stand out and not be lost in the pattern.
Patricia generously made another card to show how versatile the sketch is. I love the CAS look on this one. Thanks Patricia!
