Sketch Challenge #164

Sketch Challenge #164

Top ‘o the morn all ye wee Lads ‘n Lassies and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to ye! Tis mid March already and time for the wearin ‘o the green and mischievous leprechauns.

I’ve got a lot of inspiration for you today. There is, of course, the sketch… and then I’ve got three sample cards for you. Yepper, 3, so let’s get started with the sketch:

The following 3 cards, made by the talented and creative Pam, are the inspiration for today’s sketch. Pam made these around September of last year and got them to her shipper in October. Visit Pam on her blog, Airborne Wife’s Stamping Spot.

Don’t you just love how Pam used her design to emphasize her sentiments? I can’t wait to see what your take on this sketch will be. Be sure to come back and use the InLinkz thingy below to link up your card so we can all be inspired!

Crunch Time: Two weeks from today, March 31st, is the deadline for having your Mother’s Day cards to your shipper.

I can’t wait to see what you create with this week’s sketch. We encourage everyone to take a few moments to visit Pam, and our participants, and leave a comment. It’s a great way to say ‘Thank You’ for their creativity and inspiration.

  1. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all. This looks like a really fun sketch — looks like a good one to use up some scraps of paper. Pam T. did a great job with the sample cards. I really like how she showcased her sentiments with this sketch. Thanks Marlene for our “lucky” sketch.

  2. Marlene. . . this sketch is awesome!!!!! I didn’t know what to do first . . comment here or start to play with my cards . . .PAM T . . .thank you for the beautiful cards that you create. I was at your site . . .but couldn’t find a place to leave you a general message . . . I will go back and look later! THESE CARDS ARE THE BEST!

  3. These cards are beautiful – and YES, a great way to use up scraps…which I have TONS of. I’m wanting to get involved with making these cards, but not sure I could do the quantity needed, or the deadlines needed. I’m still considering…but in any case, hope to try making these samples with my stash!!

    • Every card counts Barbara! Don’t worry about quantity. Just enjoy yourself & do what you love. As far as deadlines are concerned, you can just keep to birthday, thinking of you, etc. and then you don’t have to worry about deadlines because they are needed all year long.

  4. You did a great job with this sketch Marlene, and Pam – your cards always inspire me! I love those embossed panels and brads coming toward the centers of the cards! Unique and classy!

  5. I am a week late posting my card, but I just love this sketch, Marlene! Pam, your cards are gorgeous as always; thanks for always inspiring me.
