Sketch Challenge #163

Sketch Challenge #163

Good morning peeps!  This is Sunday so it’s Sketch Challenge Time! I was just blown away by all the goodness you linked to last week’s challenge. You all rocked that one! Soooo… ta ta ta da… without further ado let’s get to your sketch.

This week’s sample card is by the talented Jeanne, and is such a bright and cheerful card. You can visit Jeanne at her blog A Kept Life. Be sure to leave love when you visit.

Sketch163 Sample2 Jeanne

Timely Tip: When using pearls or gems as accents, like Jeanne did, keep them on the small side. My rule of thumb is nothing bigger than 1/8th  to ¼” wide at the base. I know… I know… the larger sizes are so tempting, but, they wreak havoc in the postal mailing machines!  Please don’t let your beautiful cards get torn up before they reach home.

So now go… scoot… have fun and get creative! When you’re done come back to link up using the InLinkz thingy below. Can’t wait to see what your mojo does with this sketch!

  1. Marlene – this looks like a fun challenge. Thanks for the reminder about pearls or gem accents on our cards. Jeanne did a wonderful job on our sample card — such a cheerful card. Thanks to both of you.
