It’s Sunday… and time for another sketch. But first, remember postage is going up January 27th. Be sure and send the cards you have while the rates are still lower.

Deadlines: Winter cards is over. St Patrick’s Day deadline Jan 31, 2013. Easter is around the corner and the deadline is Feb 7, 2013.

Are you ready to play? The sketch this week was made from the sample card by Tombow. Sandy is in California at CHA. She’ll be busy at the OWH booth, schmoozing with the vendors to see if we can get more partnerships going, and leading Tombow’s Make-and-Give sessions.

This is one of the cards that will be made at Tombow’s booth at CHA. Tombow is celebrating its 100th Anniversary and hopes to make 100 cards during their Make-and-Give sessions. They are a supergreat partner for OWH, and very generous with adhesives.

The stamp is paper pieced using the Hero Arts Happy Birthday set CL646. Papers are all from Bazzill, the striped paper is from their School Days collection and they donated all the papers to use for the show.

A tip: If you’re using colored cardstock for your card, please remember to line the inside with white. Our heroes use pens or pencils to write home and these don’t show up well on colors. They will thank you and so will their family and friends.
