Sketch Challenge #120

Sketch Challenge #120

Hello, rebels! Are you making cards to celebrate National Scrapbooking Weekend? If you haven’t seen them yet, check out all the fun challenges in the Be a Rebel Virtual Cardmaking Party – still going on today!

We have a great sketch for you today to continue the cardmaking mojo!

Our sample this week was made by the fabulous Kathryn. She has a blog where you can see more of her great cards, appropriately called Kathryn’s Cards. Be sure and visit! I like the way she handled the oval element in this week’s sketch. She didn’t have an oval die that would work, so she improvised with a diamond, and it came out great! Thanks for the inspiration, Kathryn!

What shape will you use? An oval? A diamond? Something else altogether? Be sure and come back here to link up your online gallery or blog post so we can all see!

To play along in this week’s sketch challenge, simply upload a project using this week’s sketch to your blog or online gallery then leave the link to that entry using the Inlinkz widget at the bottom of this post. And remember, you may use this sketch at any time. Feel free to re-post the sketch on your blog along with your card… then come back and leave a link for us so we may all see your cards!

We encourage everyone to take a few moments to visit and leave comments for the other participants. Comments are a wonderful way to say thank you for sharing your creative project and inspires everyone to create.

  1. Once again you've come up with a very nice card. Great inspiration, thank you for that.

  2. That's beautiful, Kathryn! Awesome card!

  3. Great sample for this nice sketch. I really like the diamond and it's always fun to see the cards that put a little personal twist o the sketch just as this did. Thanks Kathryn!
