Sketch #259

Sketch #259

Sketch 259

Sandy made the sample card for this sketch…
Sketch 259 - sampleYou can watch Sandy’s video below or click HERE to watch in HD on YouTube.

I, too, want to add a few words of thanks. My sincerest thanks to Sandy, the OWH Board of Directors, the OWH Blog Team, and my fellow card makers. It’s been an incredible experience to be a part of such a generous, uber-talented, passionate family of crafters. It’s been an honor and a pleasure.

And, don’t forget, Sandy’s just a click or two away. We’ll be able to continue following her artistic journey at sandyallnock.com and on her You Tube channel. Sandy, don’t think you’re going to get rid of us that easily! 🙂

Share your sketch-inspired cards!

  1. The last sketch….I remember when it was a Sunday regular thing and I so looked forward to getting up fresh and having a new sketch to play with. Thank you for all the sketch inspiration over the last few years, it changed everything for me. 🙂

  2. Thank you for another great sketch! My cards are all in but I’ll be using this one for my own personal use now. 🙂

Thank you everyone who has designed sketches, written blog posts, created cards and was in any way associated with OWH. I have learned so much from all the samples and videos and tutorials.

  3. The sketches will live on forever. I have printed most of them out and they are so helpful. Thank you for all your hard work.

  4. I am late to the punch!! Is there a particular place to find all of the sketches?? or a book?? I would love to see other sketches. So sorry I was not part of this program. We have a Wounded Warrior in the family and it would have been such a great experience to have participated in this effort. Thanks for your un flagging energy! Bless you Sandy!

    • Mary if you go here http://operationwritehome.org/sketches/ , darned if I know how to make it clickable though, you’ll find all 259 sketches in a downloadable PDF, there are even a bunch of bonus sketches. They are a marvelous resource! Thanks to you and your family, esp your Wounded Warrior, for you service to our country.

      • Thanks so much for providing this link to our sketches. 🙂

    • Mary, Please pass along my thanks to your family’s Wounded Warrior for his/her service to our country.

  5. Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard for OWH. Some in front of the scenes, but many many more behind the scene. While I’m thrilled beyond words that our Heroes are coming home, I’m going to miss the sense of family that was/is OWH. All the inspiration, tutorials, sketches, bootcamps, videos, link ups even just the comments have all contributed to helping me and so many others become better card makers. It’s been a fun ride with a truly wonderful goal, helping our Heroes to stay in touch with their loved ones in a permanent, concrete way. I’m thankful to have been a part of it. God Bless the USA, our Troops and their loved ones

  6. Thanks for this one last sketch – now to download them all and print out the pages that aren’t yet in my notebook. I love leafing through my sketch notebook to get ideas for card designs. Quite often I refer others from a few FB groups to OWH, especially the design boot camp and the Scrap Wrangler video. The influence of OWH will live on!

  7. I have gotten about 40 sketches done this summer. I was sooooooooo behind on completing them. Now I have to find a new place to send my cards.
