OWHtv: Episode 92, Cricut tips
Posted by Operation Write Home on Mar 7, 2013 in OWHtv, Stars and Stamps | 1 commentThis first card is my patterned paper FAIL! lol. The class referred to in the video is at Online Card Classes.

Safest if you have a hard time colormatching: solids!

Aim for patterns with fewer colors in them – one pattern can have multiple colors, but try to keep second or third patterns down to tone-on-tone.

Pull a color out of the image that matches a color in the mixed pattern; the yellow acts as almost tone-on-tone, and the brown layers on everything make sure to clearly separate all the elements to add that “pop.”

Papers used are mostly from My Mind’s Eye’s “Stella Rose” collections.
Don’t forget to send in your 10 second video clip for our upcoming new “Welcome” video! Pick a guideline to restate in your own words – and don’t forget to SMILE! Hold your camera horizontally. And email it to sandy at operationwritehome dot org
