OWHtv Episode 87: Bootcamp bunnies and MFT Stamp Fundraiser

Here are the bootcamp bunnies….January’s Design Boot Camp by Paula taught us about Basic Color Theory – and this card uses a monochromatic color scheme as well as Sketch #157.
Next up is the same bunny from My Favorite Things, but with no “Easter” sentiment – making it a more flexible card for our heroes; they can use this at Easter or later on. The complementary color scheme here uses blue and orange – directly opposite each other on the color wheel. Even the twine is half blue and half orange – described in the video.
Last but not least is a missing you card with the same bunny…and an analagous color scheme. That’s three colors directly NEXT to each other on the color wheel. This has yellow-green as the middle color, with yellow on one side and green on the other. It’s paper pieced, and the faux stitching is done with a pen.
I hope you get a chance to try out the color schemes on the Boot Camp post – Paula has another topic scheduled for us on the 3rd Monday of February, and I can’t wait!

What a great thing for you and your trusty sidekick to make the front page! Thanks to MFT for all the goodies, they will make lots of great cards and be a wonderful fundraiser too! Loved that Joe responded to those letters, hope you find all the special kids that they go with. Love all the different ways you used the same image, they all look unique.
