My heart melted

Imagine my surprise when I received a hand-made card from my deployed son for Mother’s Day!  I was stumped as to how he obtained a card and then I saw your stamp.  My heart melted.  To think that someone lovingly made it – with the intricate lattice and gems glued on, etc. just made me stop and have a moment of gratitude toward this unknown card-maker.  Kudos to all of you who volunteer you time and goods making these cards. I look forward to learning more about your wonderful organization!

  1. Another tissue alert. How wonderful to get an OWH Mothers Day card from her son

  2. I never tire of reading these letters

  3. That is such a special message! That is why we do what we do 🙂

  4. It’s notes like these that send me to my studio to get creative! So glad to help keep families connected.

  5. What a wonderful message and in the spirit of “pay it forward” OWH card makers lovingly make the cards, deployed servicemen and women send them to loved ones and then a message like this comes……and takes your breath away. ❤️

    • Thank you to the brave servicemen and women who are paying it forward!!! It makes all that is being done through OWH worthwhile!!!

  6. Awesome!

  7. It’s messages like this that make me LOVE to make the cards I do. I had 3 of my 4 brothers in the service and it means so much to me knowing what our service personnel do for us and our freedom. The cards are such a small way for me to say thank you. Enjoy!!
