A lot of work and creativity

Sandy,

Today I received your letter and the box of cards that you sent.  Thank you for thinking of us.  It looks like a lot of work and creativity went into making the cards, and my team and I appreciate your efforts and the efforts of all of your partners.

Ciara looks like a very happy dog with a very long tongue.  I liked the picture – thank you.

There are so many cards that we cannot possibly use them all by the time we leave, so I am happy to let you know that we will pass them on to the unit that replaces us.  The cards will definitely come in handy as Thanksgiving and Christmas approaches.

I see that you are in Federal Way.  My unit is a 3-person team from the Washington Army National Guard and two of us live in Tacoma – probably not far from you and Ciara.

Thank you once again for the cards and for all that you do to connect service members with their families and communities.

Best regards,

CPT K.K., MI

  1. It’s so awesome, what this organization is doing! I’ve ordered my OWH stamp for the back of the cards & look forward to making cards for our troops! It’s a neat way to show them how much I appreciate their service to our country.

    Peace, Love & Joy,
    Joyce
