Sketch Challenge #181

Sketch Challenge #181

Good morning peeps! I have been loving your takes on the Sketch Challenges… really! You’ve all been flipping the design and getting very creative… and that’s fantastic!

This week I have a real doozy for you… and it’s not for the faint of heart! There are lots of pieces/parts, and layers, but a good design to showcase a favorite stamp and sentiment. Ready?? Here you go:

181 replacement

The two sample cards are by Diane. You can visit her blog, the link is here, and see her other amazing cards… and leave her some love.

I love how Diane kept the same stamp.sentiment, and colors but got different looks by changing the papers. Hmmm… great idea for using the 6×6 paper pads that are coordinated!

It’s summer and I know you have lots of fun things to do, so I’m keeping this post short. Enjoy your day… and be brave, and fearless, and give this sketch a try!

  1. Can’t wait to try this one out! I am looking forward to stamping today so I won’t have to wait long.

  2. Nice job of color blocking. I am going to give this one try

  3. Please note that the two long pieces should have measurements of .75 x 5.25, not .75 x 4

    • Oh, thank you! I just had that happen to me and I came back to ask about it. Whew- I thought it was me?!

  4. I was just wondering about that Erika – cut my paper and found it way off. Thanks.
